As regions around the world begin efforts to reopen their economies, Solberg is committed to remaining a COVID-19 safe business. As such, we will continue many of the protocols recently implemented to protect the health and safety of our employees while striving to provide exceptional service to our customers who count on us.

We have begun reinstating travel within regions that have lifted restrictions. As always, the health, safety, and wellbeing of our employees and customers are our top priority. Our employees who travel are taking precautions including wearing masks and gloves where required. All employees who will be visiting customers have been instructed to communicate with customers prior to any meetings and understand their requirements for entering a customer’s site.
We take care of the customer. Our plan is to continue processing, producing, and fulfilling orders without disruption in accordance with local and national directives. Under the current shelter-in-place orders issued by the State of Illinois (extended through May 30th), Solberg is deemed an essential business that may continue operations. Our inventory position is strong, both in the states and internationally, and we have a 24-48 hour turnaround for most standard items. The majority of Solberg’s products are made in the USA using mainly US-made and sourced components. Although we are unable to completely guarantee uninterrupted supply due to Coronavirus, we have taken great steps towards minimizing the potential of shortages such as securing secondary sources of supply and procuring additional supplies, parts, and components for high demand products. We will continue to explore options and develop contingencies as the situation evolves. Our goals, as always, are to provide exceptional levels of service for our customers, maintain a highly responsive culture, and ship out orders for our products on time. As long as we can safely operate, we will.
Protecting Our Employees
The safety and well-being of our business family is always our highest priority. Many Solberg employees have been set up to work from home and we will continue practicing social distancing and enhanced cleaning procedures within all our facilities for the next few weeks at a minimum. Solberg will continue to closely monitor information from various sources including WHO, CDC, Illinois Department of Health and other government agencies in the localities we serve. We will make adjustments as necessary based on the latest information available. Check this page to learn of any updates to our policy.
