Conflict Materials

January 1, 2021

Dear Valued Customer:

On August 22, 2012 the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) published the regulations on implementing conflict minerals reporting obligations of Section 1502 of the U.S. Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform Act. Solberg Manufacturing is eager to assist our customers in meeting the requirements of these regulations.

Solberg Manufacturing is committed to a socially responsible supply chain, which among other requirements, is “Conflict Free.” To this end, we continue working with our supply chain to ensure that only “DRC Conflict Free” materials are used.

Solberg Manufacturing does not purchase tin, tantalum, tungsten or gold directly from smelters or mines. Further, there are multiple supply chain layers that separate us from the smelters and mines, where these metals are sourced. Based on written assurances Solberg Manufacturing has received from its major suppliers, we have no indication that Solberg Manufacturing products contain minerals from conflict mines or smelters in or around the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Please be assured we are focused on continued due diligence to provide our customers information about any changes that may occur. We fully understand the importance of this issue and will continue to monitor and gather information from our supply chain to ensure that our products remain “Conflict Free.”

Sincerely,

David Wells
